Major Swiss Bank

Our client is a major Swiss bank based in Zurich. It is one of the world’s largest asset managers and belongs to the group of 30 major banks that have been classified as systemically important financial institutions by the Financial Stability Board.

Our client was faced with the challenge of developing software that generates and distributes mandatory regulatory documents.

Regulatory Solutions | Schweizer Großbank

As part of the distribution of various self-issued and externally issued securities, a major bank in Switzerland had the task of introducing efficient processes to generate mandatory regulatory documents and make them available to its clients – digitally, always up-to-date and correct. This involved various asset classes to be covered as well as different document types in different languages.

ARIVA developed the first customised document generator.

In close cooperation with the client, our team of software and financial experts created a document generator tailored to the banking sector.

This offers our customers the possibility to generate regulatory documents automatically and to deliver them both on-the-fly and in batches as PDF documents.

In addition, functions such as long-term archiving of all delivered documents and audit trails for various workflows are integrated to meet all regulatory requirements.

Already since 2011, all product information sheets (PIB) used are generated as well as archived in different languages and layouts at ARIVA.

As a result of the PRIIP regulation, a new generation of ARIVA's supporting generator software has been implemented.

Due to the PRIIP Regulation, which came into force in 2018, a so-called PRIIP KID had to be provided for various asset classes instead of a PIB as of this date.

The institute also chose ARIVA as its service provider for this complex requirement.
