With the electronic trading centre Xetra, the Frankfurt stock exchange is the largest bourse in Germany. 

The Frankfurt stock exchange is run by the DAX group Deutsche Börse AG. 

The challenge

Deutsche Börse AG chose ARIVA as a new service provider to look after the hosting and operation of the portal boerse-frankfurt.de. The portal should exhibit high performance and high availability. Parts of the website contents should be able to be managed by the stock exchange’s own editorial staff.

ARIVA operates, manages and monitors the website www.boerse-frankfurt.de. 

The continuous optimisation and development of the system together with the Frankfurt stock exchange is our  mission. 

Project result and customer benefit

• We created a completely new front-end and back-end with the latest technologies on microservice architecture. A CMS was included, which gives the editorial department the option to manage content. Using an admin tool that was created, Deutsche Börse AG can make use of additional functions, such as the management of trade restrictions and erroneous trades.
• The new website went live in  July 2019 and  is used by 130,000 private and institutional Internet users according to AGOF (the German association of Online Research).
